HOW LONG DOES A VEHICLE WRAP LAST?
A well-maintained wrap should last 5-7 years. However, the integrity of the wrap can be compromised without proper maintenance and cleaning. Read below to learn more about what can impact the lifespan of your vehicle wrap.
EXPOSURE TO SUNLIGHT
Constant UV rays can end up fading the color of your wrap. To limit sun exposure, try to keep your wrapped vehicle in the shade as much as you can.
IMPROPER CLEANING
Pressure, harsh chemicals, and abrasive materials can all damage or cause a lift in your vehicle wrap. We strongly recommend hand washing or using a soft cloth car wash rather than pressure washing your wrapped vehicle. Pressure washing can cause lifting that allows dirt to go underneath the vinyl. If there is any difficult residue, do not use any abrasive materials that can scratch the surface of the film. Do not use any harsh chemicals that can degrade the vinyl. We recommend soaking any difficult residue in very hot, soapy water.
