Cassel, a leading vehicle graphics company, is seeking an innovative and strategic Creative Director. As a Creative Director, you will play a crucial role in brand governance and creative strategy for our internal brand as well as for our clients. You will lead and manage our designers as well as our outsourced partners. A portfolio is required for consideration.


1. Leadership, Management, and Accountability

  • Follow through on management feedback loop (1:1’s, People Analyzer, yearly goal setting, weekly team meetings)
  • Manage the team scorecard and hold the team accountable for goals
  • Manage and anticipate labor and capacity fluctuations through strategic development and engagement of outsourced partners
  • Serve as team lead and coach for designers while driving forward the overall development of Cassel’s design team

2. Brand Governance and Creative Strategy

  • Develop and communicate a vision and strategy aligned with Cassel’s business goals
  • Provide strategic oversight for all branding and creative projects, ensuring alignment for both Cassel as well as its clients
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate creative strategies with broader business goals
  • Expand and oversee the execution of social media and digital efforts
  • Support Cassel’s internal marketing efforts

3. Client Engagement and Business Development

  • Engage with key clients to understand their evolving needs and deliver high-quality strategic solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to offer creative suggestions to help with the confidence of potential clients
  • Seek opportunities for upselling creative services to support the expansion of client relationships

4. Quality Assurance and Performance Metrics

  • Foster positive client experience by ensuring satisfaction and fulfillment of creative, high-quality work
  • Develop metrics of accountability and output to identify opportunities for skill development and efficiency
  • Conduct regular reviews of design work to provide constructive feedback and ensure alignment with strategic objectives

5. Project Management and Execution

  • Ensure design projects are delivered on time, to spec, and under budget
  • Allocate tasks based on team members’ strengths and project requirements
  • Lead by example to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to enhance creativity and efficiency
  • Encourage departmental collaboration to ensure creative strategies align with broader business objectives


  • Associate/Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field
  • 5 years or more in relevant professional experience
  • Relevant experience providing creative direction and managing other creatives
